deploy existing copy of DNN website and SQL DB to azure

May 27, 2014 at 8:20 AM
hi guys
I have landed a quick(!) job of moving a customers existing website to azure web services

it's a DNN website with SQL DB

I can deploy websites etc with azure pretty comfortably but do not know how to achieve this.
I have received a zipped copy of the DNN directory structure and a .bak file of the DB.
so my question is how to get this to the azure service in one piece?
I have restored the DB ok to a local SQL express server so if I need to do anything to it I can.
have tried to do the " publish to azure" within SQL studio management but end up with errors regarding so tables with no replication flag set

Any help appreciated - heck I'll pay some one to do it as I'm sure it's only a 2-3 hour job to deploy it

This is due to incompatibilities with SQL Azure. It is necessary to correct this incompatibilities before uploading.
